The Practice
Smudging is a practice used in many cultures around the world. Light the smudge stick at one end and cleanse spaces and objects by allowing the smoke of the sage to surround the area or object. If cleansing a room, we recommend starting at one doorway and circle the room while holding the smudge stick, going up and down each wall as you walk around the room. Finish at the doorway where you began. Stamp out the lit end of the smudge stick within a bowl, dish, abalone shell, or other non-flammable item. You can reuse smudge sticks over and over until used fully. $5.00 each
