Palo Santo

Palo Santo often means “holy wood” and derives from a mystical tree that grows in South America. Palo Santo is related to Myrrh, Frankincense, and Copal. Palo Santo is often used to cleanse a space through the act of smudging by lighting the wood and using it as a way to ward off negativity and undesirable energies. Palo Santo scent has been described as sweet, with notes of pine, lemon and mint. Traditionally, Palo Santo has also been used as a remedy for colds, flu, and stress, as well as anxiety and headaches.
